I’ve been fortunate for the most part with all of my wedding vendors. I think that they have all been exceptional thus far as we prepare for our wedding in 19 days. There’s a major exception to my overall positive experience and that lies with Cynthia and team at Events Ink. They definitely miss the boat when it comes to quality customer service, communication and overall good business practices. I placed a request on etsy.com (where I’ve had great luck with this one exception) explain exactly what I was looking for as far as my wedding invitations went. Cynthia quickly responded and we worked out the details. During this process Cynthia over-serviced-her response times were exceptional and I felt like she would be a great fit. So, we paid the deposit for our invitations and from there it quickly went downhill. Where I had been receiving responses within an hour to 24 hours it began taking 2, 3, 4 days and one point it took over 10. 24-48 hours I think is a reasonable expectation to receive some form of a response from someone I am paying to do a job. It doesn’t have to be detailed…heck I just want acknowledgement that my question, concern etc has been acknowledged and that we/they are working to figure things out. I especially think this is reasonable considering how on top of things she was BEFORE she had any money from us! So, low and behold when our proofs were over a week late from what she had told me and my emails went unanswered and my calls fell on deaf ears I finally received a response and was told that as a measure of good business because of their poor service on that issue we would be getting 50 thank you cards that went along with our theme on them. Annoyed that my proofs took over a week longer than I had been told but appreciative about the thank you’s I said ok and left it at that. So, proofs go back—her response time continues to increase with no explanation. So we’re given a window of 5-10 business days to receive the completed product once we send the proofs back. Proofs go back and the 10th business day hit with ZERO communication from anyone at Events Ink. I email them to see what’s going on with the invites only to get a snippy response back from one of the staff there through Cynthia’s email explaining the business day window—I work within “business day” parameters every day and the last thing I needed, wanted or would have expected was a response that was actually incorrect based on previous communications from Cynthia, the owner. Then we get an email the following day from the same email address (and signed from Cynthia) saying that due to a snowstorm they were backed up. Funny because none of the local schools were closed when this so-called snow closed their shop. Ok, I’m from the snow belt and understand that it can change things but to have to chase an answer, chase my invites and have a snotty response from an assistant is unacceptable. Am I wrong to think that I should have received an email in advance of the very last day where I should have received the invites explaining that there was a delay? The assistant also said that we owed $$...well, no kidding the agreement was the deposit (which was paid well in advance) and the remainder of the balance when the invites were ready! NO ONE said a word that they were ready. Instead we received the runaround, condescending emails and were left with a horrible taste in our mouths. Back to the free thank you’s—you guessed it…over 2 months later, promises of tracking number (never received) and countless messages and we still don’t have them!

Cynthia at Events, Ink. went beyond expectation in every respect. The attention to detail, creativity and ability to find solutions to any issue, made our "day of" experience truly exceptional. My daughter invited Cynthia to participate in her wedding almost at the 11th hour after we realized that in addition to the invitations we had ordered, which turned out beautifully, Cynthia had ideas and solutions to make so many other details fall into place easily and affordably. Luckily, she was available for the wedding day! One of the things that impressed me the most was that Cynthia truly "got' my daughter's personality and her vison for the wedding she had dreamed of. I would highly recommend Events, Ink.

We truly enjoyed our special day. You really made sure everything ran smoothly. I didn't have to worry about anything the entire day. All of my guests continued to comment about how exquisite the reception room looked -- thanks to you and your team! Thanks again for your coordination & all your help with the last minute things, like the groom's cake. He was so surprised! Also, the centerpieces, bouquets and floral arrangements were superb! I have never seen so many beautiful red roses! They were amazing!! I will send along pictures as soon as I get them. Feel free to use me as a reference. Hopefully our paths cross again in the future. NOTE: This review is only in regards to the invitations and paper product created for our wedding by Events, Ink. I would not hesitate for a second to re-hire Cynthia to create invitations for an event.Cynthia created all of our paper product for our wedding (among other things). I cannot even begin to tell you how far above and beyond our expectations she went on our invitations! My husband and I walked in and had a brief conversation with her about what we wanted, and let me tell you, she ran with it and created a masterpiece! Friends to this day tell us that they were the best invitations they had ever seen! My best advice for working with Cynthia, be flexible and let her work her magic when it comes to paper products, she is a pro when it comes to invitations! Even if you are crazy detail oriented like we were, Cynthia will work with you until you are 100% content with your invites and save-the-dates!

Events, Ink truly understood what I was looking for. When I described my very specific requests there was not even a hesitation. Our designer, Cynthia, simply listened to what I wanted, came up with the design and stayed within the budget that I provided. She was very clear about the turnaround time, what & when I should expect things. Thank you Events, Ink for making my unique vision come true! It was worth every penny paid for this award winning design company.

How can I begin to explain everything Cynthia did to make our wedding and reception absolutely perfect? From the first time I stepped into the shop I knew I had found an amazingly unique shop. Originally I was only on the search for the "Perfect" wedding invitation. Cynthia listened and within in a week of our meeting had created exactly what I had dreamed and for a better price than the ones you find in the catalogs. Of course being the “Control Freak” that I am thought I could handle all the planning myself. Boy was I wrong…. It was at that point I knew I wanted her to be my Wedding Planner. I remember her telling me that everything was going to be perfect and I need not worry, and although I would smile and say OK….I was freaking out inside. And three days out from the wedding when they took all my paperwork and told me to go away and enjoy all my family that was in town, I figured “OK, I need to let go”.. For that I can not thank them enough…..The Rehearsal was so well organized; even the kids knew exactly what to do. Then came the wedding day, and again everything came off without a hitch…. But most importantly when I walked into the reception room it took my breath away. For that a huge Thank you for making sure everything was perfect. The room looked so beautiful; it was everything I dreamed it would be and more. I want to share with you some of the comments we have received from our guests…. -“I have seen wedding like that in magazines, but to be privileged enough to attend one was amazing”. -“That was the most wonderful/beautiful/well thought-out/planned/orchestrated/formal/casual/fun wedding we have every been too!!!! -“I want to tell you what a BEAUTIFUL wedding that was….WOW… You all did such an exquisite job on EVERYTHING.. and in areas I would have never thought of, like the lovely baskets furnished in the ladies’ restroom and the welcome baskets delivered to each person’s room upon arrival. You two invested a lot of time and money in “your special day” and it was noticed and appreciated by all…So as you can see this turned out to be quite the event that we simply could have not pulled off without Events Ink's vision, support and help. Thank you for making “Our Wedding” absolutely FABULOUS….

We ordered invitations, wedding program covers, announcements, and thank you cards from Events, Ink. We loved the actual artistic design of everything, but the cost was very high. We decided to go with this shop because they insisted on doing everything to the mark of perfection, however, several mistakes were made on the invitations: invitations were missing RSVP cards, the envelope wording was incorrect, and the wrong list was used to address them. I literally had to call all the guests to see if there was an RSVP in their invitation, and our final head count was grossly inaccurate due to this mistake. The shop generously made up for it by comping the rest of the order, and by sending out an additional note card at their cost to fix the mistakes made on the actual invitations. But it still was a big deal to us that the invitations weren't perfect when they went out. After we had paid for our invitations, and we were figuring out the design of the comped items, the shop literally ignored us for weeks. It wasn't until right before the wedding that we finally got the rest of our order.
