Matt and TJaye Theilen provided the 5 star experience from start to finish. Before our wedding we did a VERY thorough search & review of all photographers in the Reno/Tahoe area and the moment we found their website, we knew we had to have them. Now, a month after our wedding we can't stop looking at the photos! They truly are the definition of "fresh, unique, modern" while still maintaining the sweet romanticism we hoped for. Our wedding was all-outdoors on Tahoe's west shore and Matt & TJaye found stunning ways to incorporate the natural setting into the photos. We couldn't be more pleased. Photos aside, Matt and TJaye were an absolute joy to work with and they handled our large group amazingly! We were also highly impressed with the way they work as a team. Their collaboration in setting up lighting schemes and ambiance allowed them to capture these amazing shots that a single photographer could never do. They are truly dedicated, talented photographers and their enthusiasm shows. And the cherry on top.... a photobooth is included with their basic wedding packages and they post all photobooth photos on facebook for everyone to enjoy!! All of our guests had sooo much fun in the booth and having these extra photos really made the whole event so much more special. Thank you Matt and TJaye, from the bottom of our hearts!! We highly recommend Matt Theilen for any bride to be. We planned our wedding in Tahoe from across the country and Matt (and his sweet wife TJaye) were not only wonderful photographers, but they were also a great resource in helping plan our wedding. They were generous with their time, very knowledgeable, and very enjoyable to work with. We are thrilled with our photographs and we enjoyed the process of working with this great duo. My family noticed that they did a good job of organizing people when needed, but did not take over the schedule of the wedding. Very professional, very easy to work with, very highly recommended.

I was so happy when I found Matt's website. It was clear from the moment that I clicked on his site that he was different from all of the other photographers. He is so creative and artistic and creates such gorgeous photos. It was so amazing to have him there with us on our big day.
