Tahoe Mountain Wedding Chapel

The two of us decided to ditch the "traditional wedding" in town and scoot on up to Tahoe for quiet, stress free nuptials. Ce Ce was great, we walked into the Chapel and made arrangements for a beach wedding, we were provided everything we needed. My husband and I were married within the hour and we spent another hour with the photographer. Thanks Ce Ce and Dominck! WE are very grateful for your ability to provide last minute planning and follow through.

We just got married overlooking Emerald Bay with everything arranged by Cece (limo, paperwork, photographer, flowers, minister, etc). She could not have made it any easier for us to have a beautiful and stress free wedding. Our wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend the Tahoe Wedding Chapel to anyone getting married in Tahoe.

I planned a destination wedding for Lake Tahoe. The planning online was so simple. Working with CeCe of Tahoe Mountain Wedding Chapel was the smartest choice we could have made for our wedding plans! Our spring nuptials in Lake Tahoe was an absolute dream - thanks be to Cece's professionalism, candor, quick and promptness to our every detail. It was everything I wanted it to be. I want everyone to know Cece is truly the nicest and sweetest person I think I have ever professionally worked with. She is extremely patient, organized, and most importantly- she has really great ideas she shares with you! Finding a place to get married that suits my tastes was difficult. But I made the right decision to go with Tahoe Mountain Wedding chapel because everything for our wedding went wonderfully. The staff was always friendly and available to answer any questions. We didn't feel rushed or that we weren't their biggest concern. Many other wedding chapels leave you feeling like you are just another wedding and you actually are shuffled around and treated like a tool. Everything for our event ran on time and just the way we wanted it. Hope in 10 years we will be back and will renew our vows on the lake again with this company!!! If you want to get married in Lake Tahoe this is the place! Ohh and to “hater” who wrote the bad review...If you had problems, then I highly suspect “you” were the problem not the other way around as you would have people think. The chapel is a business like anything else. It is your responsibility to make sure everything you want is included when you enter into a contract, not afterwards. Just from working with this chapel I know they would have bent over backwards to make you happy had you given them the opportunity. Tahoe Mountain Wedding Chapel staff was very, very nice. We could not have been happier with our wedding - it was perfect for the intimate and elegant feel we were looking for. I'm so glad we got married here.

HORRIBLE experience I would never wish upon any bride!!! The other bad reviews online are 100% true & accurate! After Cece (the woman in charge) locks you in with a nonrefundable deposit of 50% she will rip you off and lie about her services. SO not worth dealing with. Do yourself a favor and get a professional no scam company that wants you to be happy and doesn't send you nasty emails telling you your expectations are too high.

I read some nasty reviews from other sites after I had already purchased a wedding package from this chapel and I was a little scared about what I was getting myself into. Especially since we had invited other people and didn't want to be embarrassed with a horrible experience. But I had looked around “ALL” of Tahoe for a place, this was the best. And I really liked the “dreaded” Cece. Her staff took care of me from the start. (I changed my mind on flowers and other items more than a few times). Once there, they have a nice little room to make some touch-ups and to change into my wedding dress. The flowers were beautiful, and the chapel was really nicely set up. I was very pleased with the look of the chapel. I can’t understand how someone would say this is a dump. Our officiant was friendly and did a great service and the music was right on cue. All our guests really enjoyed the ceremony. They were awestruck when they walked into what they thought was a very small chapel and saw just how large this chapel actually is. They do take a ton of pictures, which we really loved. Our pictures turned out great and the hard drive DVD is actually a nice souvenir. I have already watched it a couple of times since being married. I don't normally take the time to write reviews. But it's really hard to find a good place that's lively, fun, with great service. And I would hate to see someone miss out on the services this great chapel offers. It’s sad but most couples who are happy with a service don’t take the time to write and tell everyone how happy they were with the establishment- mostly just “haters”.Myself, and all my guests have nothing but nice things to say about this chapel and their staff. I’m so glad we got married there - our wedding was organized, simple, memorable and most of all fun!!! We will be back for our vow renewal someday.

I would like to say I never write reviews, but I definitely read them! So when I read some negative reviews on other sites on this chapel I was scared to book this place for my February wedding. I worked closely with a lady named Cece. She was awesome. Every time I emailed her she would write back quickly. The staff was warm, friendly and very accommodating. They are also very "protective" of their brides, ensuring she is the top priority! They have a vast knowledge of the wedding biz and aren't just there to take your money and kick you out. Oh and the chapel looks great . I am so glad I did not listen to the negative reviews and checked this place out myself. Thank you Cece very much for not being annoyed with all my silly questions and being there for my special day.I waited to write a good review to see when my pictures arrived. I give this place 5 stars because it was a perfect place to get married at. The chapel is very nice. Yes the outside is a little weird (looks really small from the outside) but you forget about it immediately once you get inside and see how large it is inside. This chapel offers a venue that is more romantic and different from the other surrounding cheesy chapels. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. The chapel itself is modest, as it has simple walls with a wonderful marble flooring, so as not to take way from my gown and flowers. Most chapels have a set decor and can clash with the brides’ choice of colors.They also have quite a large selection of packages to accommodate all pocketbooks, including year round beach and mountain locations. The photographer was amazing and friendly with all my family. I got my pictures quickly too. We did not have to wait weeks to see them. And I loved them very much. We also really liked the minister too. She was real warm and made us feel very special. Honestly I cannot say any negative stuff about this place. Its a perfect place for a Lake Tahoe wedding! Overall, they did an amazing job, it was inexpensive, we had an AMAZING time (as we should on our wedding day!), and everyone involved was just a true pleasure to be around. HIGHLY recommended!!!

The whole thing was very last minute but they worked with us and accomidated our very late schedule! Kudos to Tahoe Mountain Wedding Chapel!!

Great company to work with!

My wedding couldn't have been more easy. I called on Wednesday and by Monday night I was a married woman. The setting was beautiful and the people were so nice. I will recomend this place to everyone I know.

This chapel was one of the best decisions I could have made for a venue and officiant. They were very helpful and even graciously attended to my family who must have called twice a day for a week with lots of questions and concerns. The ceremony was beautiful, the background in the chapel is a scene of the mountains with snow and in person it looks fake and kinda stupid but once you see it in you photos it looks beautiful. The officiant was very nice and asked ahead of time if we wanted a religious ceremony or a non-religious one and was very happy to oblige when we said non-relifgious even though she was a reverend and you know she preffered to do a religious ceremony. The price was a little pricey and the photographer in my opinion wasn't really worth what we paid for him but all in all it was a beautiful ceremony and if I had to do it over again I would still have my wedding there. Like I said my only complaint was that I should have paid the extra $25 to take my own photography. But if you choose this chapel I'm sure you will not leave disappointed.
