"Safe Play Tour"
We're currently raising money for children's playground equipment to provide a safer place for kids to play in specific Nor Cal neighborhoods.
Based in Sacramento, The Mixx has been serving Northern California and beyond for over 8 years. We specialize in weddings, corp events, festivals and fairs.
We deliver a high energy Live show that specializes in providing the best in Latin, Motown, Rock, Country, Jazz, R&B and Top 40 favorites for your party or corp event.
We play the hottest Hits from James Browm to Lady Ga Ga.
We book an average of 30 weddings per year and 25 or so corp events. We play smokin Jazz for the cocktail hour, provide soothing dinner music, MC services for the reception if requested in advance and then a high energy dance show. We will start in stop as needed to accommodate your timeline.
We feature some of the most talented vocalist in Northern California. These are energized entertainers who interact with your guest encouraging participation and assuring their enjoyment with line dances, latin dances, hula competitions and much more.
We understand that controlling the cost of your event is very important. We're very affordable. We can adjust our head count to fit your budget and space available at the venue.
We also offer ceremony music which includes most classical standards and contemporary ballads. (small extra fee)
If needed, we have a secondary, small PA that can be used for your ceremony or alternate site for toasts and announcements. (small extra fee)
We also offer a small Battery Powered PA should you need to cover sound in an area without electricity. (small extra fee)

The MIXX brought their wonderful talents to our annual event, Vintage 2012. From cocktail hour on, It was fantastic. They are delightful to work with but their music is wonderful and the range of sounds that they can accommodate was perfect for us. Jazz and light tunes for the early evening and hot live band sound for the after party! Great playlist, sound and a super fun group. Danny also donated 2 gift baskets to our auction!
